Builder gel nails trend

Is builder gel nails still growing?

Yes. Google's weekly index for it is up +57% in a year, though down -11% over the last 3 months. The rise is measured, not a one-week spike or a change in how Google counts, and Bing searches rose with it, each above what every other search on the same source did.

A rise on Google alone can be a change in how Google counts. These rose with it, each against what every other search on the same source did:

• Bing searches rose too, by more than they did for the typical search we track there (their licence lets us name the source, not quote its numbers).

About this search

Builder gel nails refers to manicures that use a thick gel, cured under a UV or LED lamp, to strengthen natural nails or add length and structure, sometimes called BIAB. People search it to learn how builder gel differs from regular gel and acrylic, how long it lasts, how to remove it and how to apply it at home. In practice, searchers are salon clients and a growing number of home users buying kits. The rise follows social media tutorials. Kits, lamps, removal products and nail tech training form a clear product category.
