Who we are

Next Big (nextbig.io) is a trend research tool. Questions about this policy go to [email protected].

What we collect

  • This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising. Our host keeps standard server logs (address, page, time) for security.
  • If you join the waitlist, we keep your email, the page you joined from, the site that sent you there and any campaign tags in the link, and your answer if you tell us how you heard about Next Big. The list is held for us by Marketinque (marketinque.com), and we use it only to invite you.
  • If you write to us, we keep your email and message to answer you.
  • If you connect Google Search Console to a project, we receive, read-only: your Google account's email address, the list of Search Console properties it can read, and for the property you choose, the searches, pages, clicks, impressions and positions Google reports. We also keep the access Google grants us (a refresh token), encrypted.

Why we use it

Only to show that project its own search performance and to suggest changes to its pages: searches it almost ranks for, pages shown but not clicked, pages losing clicks, and how each change did afterwards. Nothing else.

What we don't do

  • We don't sell or rent your data, and we don't use it for advertising.
  • We don't share it with anyone, except a service provider that hosts it for us under confidentiality, or where the law requires.
  • We don't use it to train AI models.
  • We never write to your Search Console: access is read-only.

Google user data

Next Big's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How it is kept

Tokens are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM). Search data is stored per project and only shown inside that project. Access to the data is limited to the people running Next Big.

Deleting it

  • Disconnect Google on the project's Website tab: we delete the stored token and ask Google to revoke our access.
  • You can also revoke access yourself at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
  • Write to [email protected] to have the search data stored for your project deleted; we do it within 30 days.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date above changes with it.
