Advent Center: a seasonal site built on rising searches
advent.center lists every advent calendar, what's inside each door, today's prices and where to buy. Advent calendars come back every autumn, and every brand's new box is its own search, peaking in November. This season the site runs on Next Big: here is what it picked for the peak, and what happened.

Why it works
An advent calendar is a search with a season: it wakes up in September, peaks in November and is gone by Christmas. Inside it are thousands of smaller searches, one for every brand's calendar that year, "dyson advent calendar 2026" and the like, that no one else answers one by one.
That's the kind of opening Next Big looks for: searches rising before they peak, and the ones with no page aimed at them yet. advent.center is built on it, with one page for every box and every brand.

The season so far
Google clicks went from 574 in the week of September 7 to 5,150 in the week of October 12. That's the season arriving on a site built for it, and not what this case study measures: every advent page rises in October.
What Next Big does for it now
Every night Next Big reads the site's Search Console, Google Analytics and Google's index, follows every advent search on the Next Big Pulse, and lists the next moves: a page Google shows but nobody clicks, a page almost on page one, a rising search with no page of its own.
This season it flagged "advent calendars 2026": about 271,000 searches a month, its Hunger up 1,329% in three months, and advent.center had no page aimed at it.
How it gets scored
Clicks rise with the season whatever a site does, so each change is judged on its click rate for the search it was aimed at, and set beside the 462 brand pages left alone: 3.02% of their impressions were clicked in the baseline weeks.
The after weeks are November 2 to 29, giving Google a week to read the changes. Their numbers go up on December 2, wins and misses alike.
What Next Big picked, and what happened
Clicks of impressions for each page's target search in Google Search Console. Before: September 21, 2026 to October 18, 2026. After: November 2, 2026 to November 29, 2026. The season lifts every page, so the pages left alone are the line to beat.
