A site plan and fixed-price install booking for people buying a backyard sauna kit
A web tool for the buyer of a $3,000-$9,000 barrel or cabin sauna: photos of the yard and the electrical panel in, a site plan out (pad, 240V circuit, delivery path, setbacks, permit) with an installed-cost estimate, then a booked electrician and assembler at a quoted price.

For US homeowners who have bought or are about to buy an outdoor barrel or cabin sauna kit ($3,000-$9,000), and the electricians and assemblers who install them, first version in 5 weeks, about $12K to start, first revenue in 7 weeks.
Why now: Saunas became a curbside-delivered retail purchase, and the installation that used to come with a dealer now falls on the buyer.

Home saunas, in depth
Thirty-one searches for one job: taking the sauna home. People shop it by where it goes, "outdoor sauna" (33,100 searches a month), "barrel sauna" (22,200), "indoor sauna", "backyard sauna", by how it is built, "sauna kit", "traditional sauna", "dry sauna" (9,900 searches a month, up 17% over a year, and searched as "dry sauna for home" and "not infrared"), "2 person sauna" and the newest member, "4 person sauna" (1,600 searches a month, up 226% over a year and still in the exploding stage, searched alongside Almost Heaven), and, at the cheap end, as something that folds away: "portable sauna" draws 40,500 searches a month, the same as "sauna for home", and "sauna box" 14,800. Infrared blankets you lie in are the lightest version, and a row of brands sits across every form, from Harvia heaters to Almost Heaven barrels to Amazon tents.
The growth is broad, and it is older than this year. Measured the last twelve months against the twelve before, indoor sauna is up 213%, 2 person sauna 188%, traditional sauna 169%, outdoor sauna 134%, and the build-it-yourself end grew fastest: sauna kits 400%, outdoor infrared saunas 300%, backyard saunas 341%, the one member still in the exploding stage with a steady series. "Sauna for home" and "portable sauna" peak each April, so read their rises as direction. Unlike the home-service searches that were flat for years and jumped together in 2025, these climbed year after year before it, which is why they are grouped here rather than dismissed; but the typical trend we track rises about as fast, so the cluster is steady rather than exceptional.
Two readings need care. Infrared sauna blankets rose as a sudden step after years at one level, not yet confirmed by a second source, and the blanket brands (HigherDose, LifePro, Bon Charge) are too sparse to read as more than direction. "Dry sauna for home" had a burst of searches from elsewhere, so its headline number is not demand.
Who is buying splits by budget. Garden buyers compare barrels, cabins and kits and ask about heaters, and their searches carry brand names and "kit", people planning a project. Apartment buyers look for a personal or portable sauna, a steam tent or a box, and search brand reviews, as with Burneek and The Sauna Box. Premium brands such as Heavenly Heat (8,100 searches a month) and SaunaSpace (4,400) sell a story about materials and light.
What a founder should notice: everything is past its spring peak, with six-month changes from -25% for outdoor saunas to -52% for kits, so compare the same weeks next year before calling a turn. The opening is less another sauna than what goes around one: installation and electrical work for garden kits, heaters and accessories, and honest comparison between the cheap portable end and a built cabin, where searchers already ask "best sauna for home" and "infrared vs traditional".
