GummySearch alternative
GummySearch is closing. Here's what to use next
49 days until GummySearch deletes your data
GummySearch stopped taking new users on November 30, 2025, after it couldn't reach a commercial licence for Reddit's data. It shuts down and deletes all user data on December 1, 2026. Export what you tracked now, then pick a tool for each job it did: no single tool does them all.
GummySearch, also written Gummy Search. Compared on October 13, 2026, from GummySearch's own pages. Every source.
Before December 1, export
What GummySearch says happens to your data[2], and what to save.
- Log in to GummySearch before December 1, 2026. Lifetime-deal access ends on November 30.
- Download your data: the keywords you tracked, your audiences (the lists of communities) and any saved searches or reports. GummySearch's notices don't name a file format, so copy a list by hand if it has no download.
- Keep the keyword list. It's the one thing worth bringing to your next tool.
GummySearch alternatives, by job
The jobs GummySearch names itself[1], and where each one goes now. No single tool does all of them.
| The job | Use next | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Ideate startups | Next Big. For pain points pulled from Reddit posts, PainOnSocial or IdeaFast | Next Big's ideas sit on searches that have risen for months, confirmed by independent sources. The Reddit tools are on GummySearch's own list.[6] |
| Validate demand | Next Big | Every trend page shows searches a month, overall interest, a 12-month projection and the sources that confirm the rise. |
| Inspire content | Next Big for what people search and ask. Postpone to plan and schedule Reddit posts | Each trend page lists the questions people ask about it. Postpone is on GummySearch's list.[6] |
| Find sales leads | RedReach, ReplyAgent or SubredditSignals | Next Big doesn't do this: it reads search, not conversations. All three are on GummySearch's list.[6] |
| Listen across social platforms | BuzzAbout or Adlicio | Both read conversations beyond Reddit, by GummySearch's description of them.[6] |
In short
Choose Next Big if
- You used GummySearch to find what to build, and you want ideas tied to demand that has been rising for months.
- You want to know the demand is real before you build: searches a month, a 12-month projection, and independent sources that confirm the rise.
- You'd rather see whole markets and product types, each with an opportunity score, than read single posts.
Pick a Reddit tool instead if
- Your job is watching conversations and keywords on Reddit as they happen.
- You find leads on Reddit and reply to them.

Where GummySearch is stronger
Research inside Reddit itself: discovering communities, searching and tracking keywords across posts and comments, trending subreddits, and alerts in Slack or Discord. Next Big does none of this.[5]
Reach and trust: over 140,000 founders, marketers and investors relied on it, and it was built and run by one maker.[4]
Where Next Big is different
- Every trend is confirmed by sources that have no reason to follow search, and the method is public.
- Live now: AI agent: +240% in a year, confirmed by 6 independent sources.
- Each trend says where it's heading: a 12-month projection, with the odds it's higher in six months.
- Live now: commercial HVAC near me: likely to keep rising strongly, +67% over the next 12 months by our projection.
- Ideas come scored, on markets that carry an opportunity score of their own.
- Live now: A 12-week trial app that tells red light device owners whether their mask or cap is actually working, scored 63/100, on does red light therapy really work.
- When a trend stops, its page says so instead of quietly disappearing.
- Live now: AI video generator: no longer trending, and its page says so.

Questions
Is GummySearch shutting down?
Yes. It stopped taking new users and payments on November 30, 2025. Paid plans run to the end of their billing period, lifetime deals to November 30, 2026, and everything shuts down, with all user data deleted, on December 1, 2026.
Why did GummySearch shut down?
It ran on Reddit's API and couldn't reach a commercial licence for Reddit's data that fit Reddit's usage policies. Its founder closed the business rather than run it without one.
Can I still export my GummySearch data?
Until December 1, 2026: log in to view, download or delete it. After that date it's deleted.
What is the best GummySearch alternative?
It depends on the job. To find what to build and check the demand is real, Next Big. To watch Reddit conversations or find leads there, a Reddit tool: GummySearch's own alternatives page lists the ones its founder recommends.
Is there a GummySearch equivalent for Reddit research?
Not one tool. GummySearch's founder points to PainOnSocial and IdeaFast for pain points, RedReach, ReplyAgent and SubredditSignals for leads, Postpone for posting, and BuzzAbout and Adlicio for research across platforms.
Is there a free GummySearch alternative?
Every Next Big trend, market and product page is free to read now, and its Scout plan is free at launch. It answers the demand side of GummySearch's jobs, not the Reddit side.
How much did GummySearch cost?
Its pricing page last listed Free (50 keyword searches), Starter at $29, Pro at $59 and Mega at $199 a month, 33% off yearly. The paid plans added unlimited searches, keyword tracking and AI features. Nothing can be bought since November 30, 2025.
Can I still sign up for GummySearch or use a promo code?
No. New sign-ups, purchases, upgrades and renewals stopped on November 30, 2025, so a promo code or day pass found online won't buy access.
Did GummySearch use AI?
Yes: Starter and up included customer development and pattern finding with AI, run on Reddit conversations.
Did GummySearch have an API?
Not on its pricing page. Pro sent results to Slack and Discord. Next Big will offer an MCP server and REST API on its Unicorn plan at launch.
Who made GummySearch?
Fed, a solo maker, built and ran it from start to finish. He says he'll build more market research products in 2026.
Does Next Big read Reddit?
No. Next Big reads search data and checks every rise against Wikipedia views, research papers, Hacker News, Bluesky, news coverage and Bing. It doesn't watch conversations or find leads.
