How to read it
Searches a month is the Pulse over the last four weeks on Google Ads' scale, in the US. Added, a year is that figure against the same four weeks a year earlier. Share of search is each search's part of the searches a month these searches add up to now, so it changes with the set you pick. Searches overlap, so the shares are of these lines, not of a market.
Only searches that pass the Next Big Pulse are published, and only those can be compared here: how we read every source. The lines are open data: pulse.csv (CC BY 4.0).
